                                                 NOTESHARE

NoteShare journals are an easy way to integrate technology into the
curriculum and organize student and teacher work. The three session NoteShare course will provided teachers with the information they need to use NoteShare with students to support learning and collaborative work using technology in their classrooms.

Session I: An introduction to NoteShare focusing on ways that teachers across the Maine have used them successfully in the classroom and on how to create a basic journal.

Session II:  In this session, participants will be guided through the creation of journals for specific units that they are teaching. Participants will have the opportunity to learn how to incorporate additional components such as video, literacy support strategies, and collaborative learning.

Session III: During the third session, participants will share their experiences using their NoteShare journals and problem solve any issues that they have encountered.

Also, information will be introduced to information relating to the New Computer Literacies and the Carol's work with  Dr. Leu from the University of Connecticut.
