http://www.jax.org/ A renowned education and training center, The Jackson Laboratory is a magnet for those seeking knowledge of genetics and research strategies. Jackson Lab provides internships for high school students and the opportunity for scientific investigation to classes of varied ages. Jackson Lab is a DEEP Partner.
http://maine.edu/~grimmig/ Hancock County Higher Education Center is a DEEP Partner, which extends University of Maine System courses and services to the people of Hancock County. Located at the Mill Mall in Ellsworth, University College offers a full schedule of day and evening courses and support services for students. They offer a number of courses appropriate for educators!
http://www.coa.edu/ A DEEP Partner, College of the Atlantic provides an opportunity for hands-on investigations for local students through Allied Whale, the Dorr Museum, and Geographic Information Systems. COA includes a teacher certification program.
http://www.state.me.us/education/lsalt/LAD/ Local Assessment Development supports schools in local assessment system development.  The Local Assessment Development program is an effort to provide Maine teachers, schools, and districts with valid, reliable assessments, aligned with Maine’s Learning Results, suitable for inclusion in Local Assessment Systems.

http://www.maineaudubon.org/downeast/ Downeast Audubon Society is dedicated to the promotion of the conservation and protection of wildlife and wildlife habitat in Maine by offering educational, recreational, and scientific activities to our members and the public, which enhance our understanding of Maine's ecosystems and encourage active stewardship of our natural environment. Downeast Audubon co-sponsored Project Wild with DEEP last year; this spring we will co-sponsor Aquatic Project Wild!
www.mmsa.org The Maine Mathematics and Science Alliance web site allows you to explore the information and resources that are important to math and science teachers across the state.  MMSA focuses on supporting Maine teachers because it is the quality of what they do with mathematics and science that makes the difference for students' learning.
